Library
Subjects include donor conception, general infertility, parenting and secrecy issues, as well as books written for children which parents can use to help explain their origins.
The library service is only available to members. Books are available to be borrowed from the library on request for a period of ONE month, unless requested by another member.
They may be borrowed at the national conferences or alternatively the librarian will send them by post discreetly in a plain envelope. There is no charge to DC Network members in the UK for borrowing books and DVDs, apart from the cost of the return postage. Please return books promptly to the address printed on the cover (these go to our volunteer rather than to the DCN office).
We regret that we are only able to post to UK addresses as unfortunately the cost of postage outside the UK is prohibitive.
You must be a logged in member to order resources from the library. For non members, we hope that the reviews of the books are useful for you. If you would like to join the DC Network, please click here
Instruction for borrowing books
Once you are logged in you can click on the 'Borrow this book' button to order it from the library. Items are sent to you free of charge. You cover the cost of return postage and packing. People can borrow a maximum of 3 items at this time for a maximum of 4 weeks from date sent.
PLEASE NOTE: The books must be returned to the Librarian (address on cover of books) and NOT the DCN office.
The library is run by a volunteer - publications are posted once a week, so order in plenty of time.
