The Nuffield Council’s latest report Donor conception: ethical aspects of information sharing is now available on their website at www.nuffieldbioethics.org/donor-conception.

The report considers the interests of those affected by donor conception (donor-conceived people, parents, donors, and all their wider family and social networks), and the role of the state in promoting or encouraging the sharing of information. A central theme of the report is the importance of focusing on people and relationships; and of recognising the mutual interests and responsibilities that arise in the context of those relationships.
