All our facilitators are solo mums in the Network. This is not a professionally led or educational event with set objectives, rather this is a space for sharing and meeting others at the same or a similar stage of the journey.

The Big Question - How are DC young people really doing?

Wondering what the research says about the emotional and psychological wellbeing of donor conceived young people? Join our conversation with Dr Sophie Zadeh where we talk about the findings of her research into 18-32 year olds. This will be a really interesting exploration of the research outcomes and will give parents valuable insights into the experiences and feelings of donor conceived people. As part of the study, Dr Zadeh conducted long-form interviews, focus groups, and a nationwide survey, capturing a wealth of information. We’ll be asking: * What are the key takeaways from the research for parents of DC people?’ * What surprised her in the findings? * What trends emerged from the study? We’ll also welcome questions from members – this will be a great opportunity to ask an expert, and we’ll be giving you the chance to submit questions in advance and on the night.

Couples with babies born or expected 2024 / 2025

This is a DCN chat for couples, heterosexual or same-sex, who are new parents to babies born in 2024, or those expecting their babies later this year, early 2025. DCN Chat is a peer support online get-together. The space will be open for you to connect with others and will be facilitated by Francina and James – parents to one child born in 2021, concieved with sperm donation. Join us for a friendly opportunity to meet others at the same stage as you, for a place to grow friendships for you and your family. Anonymous donation - for those who don't have ID release or known donors

This DCN Chat is aimed at discussing anonymous donation and how that is experienced for us as donation recipients. The chat will be facilitated by Valentina, DCN member, and mum through egg donation to two children through anonymous donation. Known donor chat (non family member)

You are invited to join us for a conversation for members who are parents or prospective parents with the help of a known donor – a friend, acquaintance or someone who was asked to be a donor whom is known to you in any other way. There is a separate chat for those with a familial donor. Members in all family circumstances are invited to join. DCN Chat is a peer support online get-together. This DCN Chat will be hosted by Natasha, whose youngest child was conceived with the aid of a known donor.
